Laguna Verde (Tolhuaca National Park)
In short
An emerald-green lagoon surrounded by native forest in Tolhuaca National Park.
Laguna Verde in Tolhuaca National Park, Curacautín, gets its intense green from the vegetation and minerals on its bed. It is surrounded by coigüe, lenga, ñirre and araucaria forest, with chucao, thorn-tailed rayadito, Magellanic woodpecker and culpeo fox (source: Araucanía Andina). It is not the same Laguna Verde as in Conguillío National Park.
